The Walker County Chamber of Commerce and the Walker County Messenger are sponsoring the second annual “Best of Walker” contest in which residents are encouraged to vote for their favorites in local services.

There are several ways in which persons can submit their votes:
  • By visiting this link where the ballot can be submitted electronically.
  • OR, you can fill out the official form which will run in the Walker County Messenger and mail it to the Walker County Chamber of Commerce at PO Box 430, Rock Spring, GA 30739 or drop it off at the Chamber office at 10052 N. Hwy 27 in Rock Spring or at the Messenger’s office at 102 North Main Street in LaFayette.
Fill out as many categories as you wish. Only one submission will be allowed per person for paper ballots or computer for electronic ballots. The deadline for submitting your votes is October 26 at noon.

Winners will be announced...

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, November 16 at the Walker County Chamber of Commerce’s Monthly Membership Luncheon. Registration is required for this lunch and may be made by calling 706-375-7702. Every effort will be made to notify winners before November 11.

Do you own a business that would like to be voted the "Best of Walker?" We have a form just for you! Please download the flyer by clicking here. Once you have downloaded the flyer please place your company/personal name in the 'vote for' line and your category in the "best ____ of Walker" line.

Once completed, hang the flyer in your business to let your patrons know that you want to be voted the Best of Walker in 2010!
