Business Expo & Job Fair



On Tuesday, October 7, 2008 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. the Walker County Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Expo & Job Fair. This event is held to display the products, services and jobs that are available in Walker County and the surrounding areas. Last year’s event sold out its vendor space and more than 600 individuals come to the Civic Center to browse through the booths.

Many interesting activities will take place throughout the day including:
11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Lunch Available from Main Street Deli
3 p.m. Best of Walker Winners Announced
4-5 p.m. Business After Hours sponsored by Emerson Russell's Catering
How do you participate?

REGISTER:
Click HERE to download a registration form, then return it with payment to reserve your booth.

PLAN YOUR BOOTH:
The Chamber will provide you with an 8-foot by 8-foot draped area, one six-foot clothed table and two chairs...THE REST IS UP TO YOU! Be creative to entice people to come to your booth. Offer games, giveaways food & fun to make your display appealing.

INVITE YOUR CLIENTS:
Once you’ve signed up for the expo, start promoting it! Tell your customers. Advertise it on the marquee in front of your building. Email your customers. The more people that come through the better!
