Chickamauga and Chattanooga Military park, in partership with Outdoor Chattanooga, will be celebrating the National Park Service centennial. Come celebrate by enjoying a day of rock climbing, hiking and mountain biking on Saturday, June 11th between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Cravens House on Lookout Mountain.
If you plan on attending the day's activities, please bring a water bottle and wear weather/activity-appropriate attire. The rock climbing sessions will begin at 9 a.m. with registration slots reopening every hour until 3 p.m. Mountain bike rides will begin at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., and 3 p.m., and bike availability is limited. To pre-register for a bike, please call Outdoor Chattanooga @ 423-643-6888. The hiking sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will consist of a guided hike over 2-4 miles of moderately difficult mountain terrain.
